Conclusion

The Epson SureColor SC-P800 has enough features without any unnecessary bells and whistles. The quality of photo printing is excellent especially with B/W monochrome prints. It is worth pointing out that using the recommended media will produce the best results with the included EPSON profiles. When using third party media a custom profile will be required. Colour calibration and accurate profiling of your monitor is essential for achieving accurate printed colours. The SC-P800 has plenty to offer the photographer in quality terms and will no doubt satisfy the most demanding user. The UltraChrome HD inks ensure greater light fastness, and can be used as a selling point for photographers producing limited edition prints.
