AGFA PHOTO have launched the new REALIPIX range of instant Cameras and printers in Europe, which use DYE Sublimation printing technology and offer the World's first real square photo size.

With smartphones, people have never taken as many photos but they had almost forgotten that they could also be printed. And obviously the charm of photo paper still pleases as we see the growing appeal for mini-printers and instant cameras.

In this market, there are different sizes of photos and 2 main printing technologies: Zinc technology with which mini printers are mostly equipped and DYE Sublimation, also called 4 Pass, which is the most advanced printing system ensuring a photo rendering of high quality, a waterproof and long lasting photo with a very competitive cost / photo.

This combines the practicality of an instant photo and the rendering closest to reality with 256 levels per color (16.7 million colors in total).

4 Pass for 4 print passes:

YELLOW => MAGENTA => CYAN => Waterproof protective film

It is therefore on DYE Sublimation that AGFA PHOTO relies on to launch its new 5 products range.
