Tamron has just announced the development of its first lens for Fujifilm X-mount, the 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD super-zoom, which will also be available in Sony E-mount.
It features a massive 16.6x zoom ratio covering a wide zoom range from approximately 27mm to 450mm, fast and precise AF thanks to the VXD linear motor focus mechanism, and a minimum focusing distance of of 0.15m at the wide end and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.
