Tokyo Laundry, a casual fashion lifestyle brand that incorporates vintage Americana influences, has announced a photo contest. Open to UK residents and anyone currently studying and living in the United Kingdom, the competition gives winners a chance to take part behind the scenes in shooting the Autumn/Winter collection for Tokyo Laundry. Each entrant may submit two photographs that capture the essence of the brand. The deadline for entries is the 20th of July 2014. Tokyo Laundry is giving you the chance to take part in an exciting photography competition.Tokyo Laundry is a casual fashion lifestyle brand that incorporates vintage Americana influences. Tokyo Laundry wants you to reflect this idea within two images.

The competition is open to anyone who is interested in photography and fashion and would love the opportunity to expand their portfolio by winning a chance to work with a well-known brand.

The photography competition is open to UK residents / people currently studying and living within the UK only.

You may submit 2 photos that capture the theme, photos may be black and white or colour.

The deadline for entries is the 20th of July 2014. Winners will be announced two weeks after the competition closure.

Images can be entered into the competition in the following ways:

1. Tweet your images to @TokyoLaundry68 using the hashtag #TLphotocomp
2. Post your images to our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/TOKYOLAUNDRYOFFICIAL
3. If you have a blog please feel free to post your images on your blog & link through to the competition page: http://www.tokyolaundry.com/aw2014-photo-comp
4. Email Tokyo Laundry at: [email protected] with your prints accompanied by your name, age, address, and university/collage if applicable.

The winner will have their choice of two prizes:

• The chance to take part behind the scenes in shooting the Autumn/Winter collection for Tokyo Laundry
• £100 Tokyo Laundry vouchers

Terms and conditions:

To enter you must be 18 years old or over and living in the UK at the time of entry

The photographs must be original and previously unpublished.

You must be the author of and own the copyright to all pictures entered.

The winner of the competition will be required to bring along their own camera to the shoot.

Copyright remains with you but you grant Tokyo Laundry the right to retain, publish, display and use any photographs without any fee or royalty.

You will be responsible for any claims in respect of any unauthorised use of images or breach of copyright arising through the use, display or publication of photographs entered by you for this competition

Sending an e-mail is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

The closing date is as specified in the competition, and Tokyo Laundry reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

If you win the competition, we will notify you by email within 2 weeks of the closing date. If you do not respond within 48 hours of being notified, you will forfeit your prize and Tokyo Laundry reserves the right to choose another winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The photo shoot will be in Manchester, so you must be available to travel to Manchester city centre between the 18th of August and the 18th of September 2014 for a full day's shoot - lunch and travel will be provided.
